Palace for the People tells the stories of the four most iconic buildings of the socialist era in Eastern Europe in the second half of the 20th century. The National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Moscow State University, Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, Palace of the Republic in Berlin are unique architectural creatures that resulted from a time when the collective good was the principal policy of the socialist state. Now that socialism is over it’s time to go back and reveal their hidden secrets. This film provides a “snapshot” of each palace, commented on by their architects, former or current directors or ordinary people who worked in them.

Authors of visual campaigns, fulllength documentaries, videos and short films. Ideologists and founders of AGITPROP Production Company and co-founders of Bulgarian Photographic Association.
